Description: Berry Tree Collection. Well struck details emerge for the primary devices, and the reverse shows the well-known repunched mintmark. Noteworthy for bright, swooping luster and satiny texture, the fields shimmer brilliantly despite a light dose of golden greyish patina toward the left of each side. Purplish accents add interest to the upper obverse and reverse left periphery. Light contact has descended to the bottom of Washington's portrait and faint, light marks affect the cheek, while a single abrasions rests on the eagle's breast.
