Lot Title: 1920-S PCGS MS-64 FH CACCAC
Lot Number: 750
Description: Forest Park Collection II. 37 graded MS-64 FH, 28 higher at PCGS. Assuredly one of the great strike-rarities within the Standing Liberty quarter series, the cataloger has never seen a truly sharp 1920-S, and even with its "full head" designation, the present example lacks perfect delineation between the cap and face (although it is technically just present enough to warrant the designation). All of the rivets are fully outlined, most are reasonably well excised from the surrounding the field, and only the usual two at lower left present significant flatness. Some very nice pewter-gold toning shimmers subtly within the fields, although the overall presentation is very much that of a bright, brilliant near-gem survivor. Unusually free from marks, and perhaps slightly underappreciated by PCGS at the numeric grade level.
