Description: Forest Park Collection II. 20 graded MS-66 FH, 5 higher at NGC. A huge emission of nearly 28-million pieces yielded an appallingly small supply of "very-gem" examples, at least with full head definition, if grading service population reports are to be considered. Experience supports this statement, but the good news is that when a nicely struck 1920 is found, then it tends to be exceptional, indeed. The amazing aspect of this marvelous quarter must be the shield, where every single rivet stands up from the field like a standalone miniature column. The are so incredibly well defined that many actually show "steps", as the individual rivet is supposed to be represented by a tiny dot atop a slightly larger oblong that is then set upon the shield. You may actually see, with your own eyes, that exact situation with this astounding example. As an added bonus, the surface appears to be virtually free from contact marks, and just a faint layer of almond-gold plays over the surface.
