Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1919-S PCGS MS-64FH
Lot Number: 747
Description: Forest Park Collection II. 27 graded MS-64 FH, 27 higher at PCGS. The population for 1919-D and 1919-S are not dissimilar in that it has to be considered "rare" at or above "only" the MS-64 FH level. Liberty's head meets the requisite parameters followed by every major grading service, and even the rivets are not so poorly defined, although an abrasion has partially disguised one of the lower left bosses. Fragile amber-grey layers over the reverse, while a subtle hint of rainbow toning visits the obverse far left, and the entire surface features accommodating, though not-too-blatant mint luster. Neither side suffers much by way of abrasions, and astute collectors will note that each digit in the date has been particularly boldly defined by the die.
