Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1919-D PCGS MS-64
Lot Number: 745
Description: Andy Sheldon Consignment. Immediately after World War I, the production of coinage in general slowed such that most emissions for the date are limited, and fewer than 1.9 million quarters were struck at Denver in 1919. Pleasing velvet luster has a distinctly yellowish cast for this softly glowing near-gem, and for the variety seeker, an interesting die-crack spears the digits in the date. A bit of an underrated issue, even without full head sharpness.
