Description: Better 1920s mintmarked examples comprise this bison trio. The following commentary may suffice: 1920-D (XF-40, full horn and stone-grey patina and extremely original, with some grunge boldly clinging to the reverse), 1926-S (VF-35, key date with a boldly outlined horn, iron-grey patina and a somewhat better strike and planchet than are usually seen), and 1928-D (MS-64, intermingled melon and pink-gold luster over a flat strike from worn dies). Three coin lot.
