Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1917 PCGS MS-66RD CACCAC
Lot Number: 618
Description: Carry A Tune Collection. 153 graded MS-66 RD, 35 higher at PCGS. Astounding luster practically fills a small room as the obverse of this brazen, blazing copper-bright specimen tilts back and forth beneath full spectrum lighting. The reverse sees some crimson-gold encroaching from the rims, yet this only adds to the sparkling beauty, possible only with a "very gem red" Lincoln cent. Although struck from dies that are showing some fatigue, the striking pressure was more than enough to elicit nearly every possible vestige of detail, popping up the bowtie to maximum relief, and fully delineating "O" in ONE on the reverse.
