Lot Title: 1909-S VDB Lincoln F-12, and a 1922 No D Strong Reverse VG-10, both PCGS
Lot Number: 599
Description: Keys to a complete series, if one considers "1922 no-D" a member of a regular set, with 1909-S VDB obviously being one of the most famous keys to any U.S. series. Excellent, smooth surface texture with a very faint hint of glossiness characterizes 1909-S VDB as an ideally original coin, and the lines in the wheat stalks just barely meet standards for being fully delineated -- the very definition of the "Fine" grade level. Half of the lines in the wheat stalk on the left of 1922-D are merged, explaining the "choice very-good" opinion of this superbly vintage example. Two coin lot.
