Description: Ready To Retire Collection. From a mintage of nearly eleven-millions pieces, the 1886-O infamously suffered attrition to the extent that any choice or better example is treasured even in light of typically inattentive production standards. Here is an unusually pretty, blistering white example, replete with sparkling luster and visual presentation more like a San Francisco emission of the era. A unblemished cheek promotes the eye appeal, and a very strong strike (for 1886-O) only misses the curls above ear, while the eagle's breast looks remarkably well detailed. The clean fields and overall pristine appearance would look right at home in a holder graded a full point higher
