Description: Forest Park Collection II. The consignor purchased this non-certified as "UNC" more than twenty years ago, and the PCGS MS-62 grade essentially jives with that assessment. Quality of the luster most definitely exceeds that always seen for 1886-O, as this is an emission infamous for dull, spotty and, frankly, ugly examples. Peach-grey toning layers each side and helps to downplay slight scraping on the cheek that undeniably accounts for the grade. Better struck than usual, and hands-down an outstanding example.
