Description: Bert Davies Collection. These match up well with regard to satin frost and off-white presence when viewed from the obverse, although the 1899 may feature a quarter-shade more apricot-beige toning than its companion. Substantially attractive mint bag toning drapes the reverse of 1882-CC, and this is an incredibly well struck example. 1899 also features a very strong strike, although it is not quite as perfectly defined near the centers. Popular dates within this two coin lot.
