Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1880-S MS-66 PL, and an 1887-O MS-64, both NGC
Lot Number: 314
Description: As one of the best produced emissions in the series, 1880-S cannot fail to impress when prooflike, and a spectacular "very gem" example such as this should elicit a fair number of oohs and ahhs from the audience, given the profound silvery brilliance and blazing cameo impact. Mechanically sound, the obverse does have a few light grey streaks toward the lower regions. 1887-O may be a bit underrated at MS-64, especially with a better-than-typical strike that includes nearly every strand of hair folded over Liberty's ear. Two coin lot.
