Description: Considerable abrading of the cheek for 1880-CC creates a typical presentation, i.e. a coin with many small ticks and grazes, although this is not an excessively bright example due to the handsome granite-beige patina seen throughout. It is also an extremely well struck coin, as is the accompanying 1885-CC. This latter piece also displays some dapper characteristics, showing off silvery smoke-orange toning that frames the devices with a nice, antique demeanor. Nice alternatives to excessively brilliant silver within this two coin lot.
