Description: Stark and perhaps a little glaring due to its extremely white, bright surface, 1878-CC most certainly warrants an "untoned" proclamation, but this is also an amazingly well detailed example. The cheek and fields look surprisingly free from contact for MS-64. Gorgeous, smooth satiny presence for 1899 bodes well for the same MS-64 grade, this being a slightly subdued example with a touch of reddish bronze on portions of the rim. Two coin lot.
