Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1875 Shield nickel PR-63, 1889 Liberty nickel PR-64, and a 1908 Liberty nickel PR-64, all PCGS
Lot Number: 639
Description: Pale orange patina glints from the mirrorlike fields of the 1875 shield nickel, this coin offering minimal contrast but surprisingly nice presence for the grade. The 1889 Liberty nickel is trying very hard to acquire circular album toning, but at present, such patina has developed merely as olive-grey overlaying much of either side. Finally, coral-gold and lavender intermingle over the obverse of the 1908 Liberty nickel, the reverse infused with pastel versions of the same hues. Three coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
