Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1783 Washington Small Military Bust, PE VF-25, and a 1787 Fugio cent United States, No Cinq, Cross After Date VG-10, both PCGS
Lot Number: 635
Description: A pair of early copper tokens comprises this offering, both of them in PCGS holder (unnecessarily, one might say, given the relatively lower grades). Lovely dark chocolate patina graces the Washington piece, and it might be a couple of points sharper in detail than VF-25, but several curious small, circular depressions pepper the obverse. The Fugio displays a little less detail than might be ideal for even VG-10, but it offers appealing planchet quality with a minimum of the roughness often seen for the type. Two coin lot.
