Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1882 PCGS PR-63
Lot Number: 458
Description: 79 in PR-63 and 151 higher at PCGS. Proof Morgan dollars are always a sight to behold, but the current 1882 example exceeds the eye appeal of most all others and is instantly memorable. Beautiful rainbow color completely envelopes the obverse of this 19th century rarity, moving from deep aqua-blue on the left to bright orange-red on the left. The reverse in stark contrast shows a practically un-toned surface that shows ample cameo contrast and highly mirrored fields. No major marks or hairlines to mention, this example has more 'moxie' than any of its peers and is destined for a high end collection of toned coins or Morgan rarities. Expect stronger than average bidding when this rainbow toned near-Gem crosses the block (ls).
