Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1869 J-742 half-dollar PCGS PR-63
Lot Number: 375
Description: Ex-NGC 1515220-002 (PF-62). Judd-742, Pollack-823, incorporates the "standard silver" proclamation on the reverse, and the common motif seen for this type, dated 1869-1870. This is the more common sub-type, showing William Barber's "B" monogram within the folds of the ribbon. Beautifully toned, both sides are ablaze in reflective, consistently symmetrical sky-blue, ocean-gold and chartreuse-orange colors. Free from marks, the grade is almost certainly decided by a few meaningless hairlines straying across each side.
