Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1939-D and 1943-D, both NGC MS-66 CACCAC
Lot Number: 905
Description: Collector Appeal: "doubled die!". Amazingly white, scintillating "very-gem" Denver examples make up this pairing, and both feature immaculately preserved surfaces. A cluster of small reedmarks fall just left of the eagle's beak for 1939-D. NGC failed to denote the doubled die for 1943-D (FS-010.5), but the pickup point of doubling at IGWT can be readily seen with a loupe. Two coin lot.
