Description:	The Quantum Collection. Collector appeal: "dusky surfaces". For the collector that finds darker, original coins to his liking, here is a quartet worthy of consideration. Our grade estimates can be given as follows: 1844 (XF-40, exquisite sea-green and rose-grey iridescence), 1846 (AU-50, possibly prooflike when struck), 1849 (XF-45, surprisingly prooflike flash still remaining), and 1852 (XF-45, midnight-blue). Somewhat better dates in this four coin lot.
