Description: Young Thomas Consignment. The obverse could not be more perfect at the VF-25 grade, showing perfect, vintage grey and tan patina and an absolute lack of noticeable contact marks. But, it's the reverse that matters for the famous three-legged buffalo, and there, we find 3/4 of the horn details still present. Typically, that would put a bison nickel on the cusp of XF, but NGC may have deducted a few points for a trivial old scratch at the midsection. Nevertheless, this is a stone-original coin that will find no lack of bidders within our astute audience.
