Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1854 MS-62 CAC, and an 1855 AU-58, both PCGS
Lot Number: 617
Description: As CAC attests, the 1854 does seem somewhat choice for MS-62 BN due to traces of pumpkin-orange luster and a fairly contact-free surface. Perhaps PCGS deems the luster a bit too weak to deserve a fully choice grade. Strangely enough, at a whole lower grade level of AU-58, the 1855 looks like a near-twin and has virtually as much red luster on the obverse. Well-matched half-cents in this two coin lot.
