Description: The Quantum Collection. 2 graded MS-62 RD, 2 higher at PCGS. Cohen-1, as are other examples in today's sale. Each side displays considerable brick-red color with portions of satiny olive blending nicely over the highpoints, creating an exceptionally sharp presentation. The surface, mostly on the obverse, shows evidence of mild abrading, no doubt expected after well more than two centuries of patient storage. C-1 is the only reasonably collectable half-cent with the "Reverse of 1800".
