Description: Collector Appeal: "starry eyed". Impetus for NGC's star designation is especially apparent on the reverses since that is the side mounted facing in each slab. Astonishing rainbow tone sweeps over a vast portion of that side in each case, flashing with vibrancy and especially deep saturation for 1887. The 1883-O seems somewhat semi-prooflike, only enhancing the astonishing, multi-spoked luster on that side. The luster on this dollar rivals that of any 1881-S. Two coin lot.
