Excellent luster and beautiful platinum-grey color. 1901-O interlaces two characteristics, strike rarity and relative population, that make it nigh impossible to find a single specimen that will satisfy every relatable collector demand. Even this near-gem features noticeable weakness over the eagle's motif. A noticeable strike-through, or possible planchet defect, falls into the obverse lower right field.
