Description: 463 graded PF-67, 92 higher at PCGS. An astute collector would be hard-pressed to discover a more absorbing proof buffalo nickel for type representation than this lavish, superb gem. Towering, pure brilliance emanates from beneath an icy blanket of arctic-blue, through which an occasional splash of fiery orange peeps through in memorable contrast. Efforts to locate blemishes on the obverse prove fruitless, although a single contact point has found its way to the upper portion of the bison's foreleg.
