Lot Title: Four half-cents
Lot Number: 509
Description: Shop Talk Collection. Rapid Reaction: "quite acceptable". Early copper comprises this quartet of "little sisters", with some decent value possibly hidden therein. They might be listed as follows: 1800 (Fine/obverse scratched), 1828 (XF at least, with potentially attractive surfaces beneath some dusty patina), 1851 (XF/old cleaning), and 1854 (AU/ancient cleaning). The latter three pieces are particularly well defined for the suggested grade estimates, within this three coin lot.
Estimate: $500-$600

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
