Description: New Orleans gets representation within a triumvirate of lustrous and strangely attractive examples. 1889-O features the usual shoddy strike, but benefits from a sudden burst of color at the upper obverse. 1890-O features better definition and contributes unusually attractive luster, while 1892-O reverts to a mediocre strike beneath mysteriously compelling steam-white patina and turquoise accents. Just an all-around weird three coin lot.
