Lot #: Go
Lot Title: Two 1881-S, eighteen 1883-O, and fifteen 1898-O, all BU
Lot Number: 403
Description: Watertown Collection. Rapid Reaction: "brilliant white". A single of the fifteen 1898-O dollars has damage on the cheek, but on balance, these mostly grade MS-63 and better. A pair of 1881-S examples surprisingly grade below MS-63. Finally, with amazing consistency, the eighteen 1883-O dollars all seem to grade MS-62. Aside from an occasional splash of modest tone, white brilliance generally emanates from this thirty-five coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, CACG, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
