Description: The NGC "red-brown" color attribution borders upon downright cynical for a Lincoln cent that displays so much vintage brick-orange. It would be easy to guess that 90% of the original red remains, albeit with the hint of some wood grain toning diagonally spread across Lincoln's portrait. Outstanding sharpness permeates the entire coin, with every single kernel of grain powerfully delineated in the wheat stalks. The only noticeable hints of softness are borne out by slightly blurry details in Lincoln's hair and at his bowtie.
