Description: Pleasant brick-red mingles with predominantly mellow crimson-brown, thus inspiring the red-brown color designation. In terms of outright preservation, the utterly mark-free surface clamors for at least a point's upgrade consideration, but admittedly, the luster seems a bit subdued, perhaps accounting for the grade delimiter. An amazingly well-struck example of the most famous key to the small-cent series.
