Description: Snow-4, FS-303 falls under the category of "1869/69" for traditional collectors and is readily identified by the extra curve over the top of the second "9" in the date. Also well-known among Indian cent enthusiasts is the great difficulty of locating suitable examples that were struck upon a high-quality planchet, as is obviously the fortuitous situation here. Honest circulation has left the surface amazingly free from any noticeable contact; only microscopic ticks scatter here and there. Just faint hints of faded red persist into the peripheral areas.
