Description: Final emission of the large-cent series gets wonderful representation within a pair of brown UNC pieces. 1857 large date (MS-62 BN) offers exciting sharpness and just enough luster to place it very close to the choice grade level. The small date (MS-61 BN) shows frosty greyish toning and a number of tiny carbon flecks off to the right, but also a very narrow band of mint red atop Liberty's portrait. No problems whatsoever for this two coin lot.
