  • Possibly made by Neda Benham, this majestic elephant, displayed here with her mother-of-pearl trunk up, stunning green tsavorite eyes and a citrine headpiece, is just not something you see every day! The ears and head are adorned with many white and champagne diamonds weighing about 1.00 cttw, SI clarity and the finishing touch is a movable tail that you have to see to believe! Ring size 9.5, 13.5 dwt.

  • Gold $3-Indian Princess Head
  • Unquestionably very attractive, thick, rippling frosted texture peaks-and-valleys through the fields and creates impressively opulent appeal for this oft-used type date. Admirable strike quality nearly brought up full details, just missing perfection on the lowest cascaded curls as well as at the ribbon knot on the reverse. Slight strike-doubling shows on the lips, and both sides incur an absolute minimum of contact marks -- appreciably fewer than what are often seen for very choice 3-dollar gold pieces.

  • Lot #838 - 1869 PCGS MS-65RB

  • Two Cent Pieces-Two Cent Pieces
  • Robert Michaels Collection. Mostly burgundy-brown in hue, the fields still manage to retain nice luster and clutch onto gem preservation without question. Each side manifests exquisite details even though both of the dies have multiple fine cracks and were likely close to failure by the time this 1869 was struck. A groovy option for gem type purposes.
