  • $5 Obsolete - 1860s Canandaigua, New York Bank of Ontario PMG F-12/repaired
  • US Currency-Obsolete Currency
  • A very rare issued note from a highly sought after New York destination and title. Printed by National Bank Note Company, this $5 has a center vignette of a spirited horse being tamed in the foreground of an estate. The upper left corner features a scalloped die with micro-lettered titles within—all details are machined using the most advanced Cyrus Durand patented security devices. At the bottom center are two striking green dies with a geometric nucleus inside. Rare upstate New York notes remain highly prized.

  • Lot #789 - 1934-D PCGS MS-65 (green label)
  • Hammer: $750
  • Half Dollars-Walking Liberty
  • Very good detail at the hand helps to suggest an overall bold strike, which is further endorsed by stunning, vivid aluminum-white luster. An extremely faint abrasion lands in the obverse right field is of no consequence and the balance of both sides sport near-immunity to any other contact marks.

  • Hammer: $2,100
  • Gold $10-Indian Head Eagle
  • Bestowed with satiny texture and beautiful yellow-gold toning, illuminated by blazing luster. Both sides are struck to razor-sharp quality and thankfully, most of the prominent abrasions have been segregated to the reverse, leaving the obverse cleaner than typical for MS-64.
