Description: 66 graded MS-66 DMPL, 2 higher at PCGS. VAM-2B2 advances just beyond the B1 die-state with final eradication of the errant "1" beneath the date (seen on earlier dies), and die clashes that include a prominent eruption from the top of the eagle's left (observed) wing. That PCGS denoted this a DMPL example comes as little surprise, because it was precisely that die polishing that led to the disappearance of the misplaced "1", as well as some other indications of die clashing. Inimitable eye-appeal becomes the inexorable result, as the glass-smooth, pristine white surface bends and reverbs with incoming white light. Merely two examples exist in higher numeric grade (one is a 66+), assuring the new owner of possession of a virtual condition-census dollar.
