Description: Saved in sizable numbers during the introduction of the "new half dollar" two year prior, the 1918 proves to be challenging, but not unattainable near the gem grade level. A beautifully manifested example, this shimmering platinum-blonde example features a superb high-definition design and satin-roll luster. Perhaps a couple of unimportant contact marks rest in either obverse field but they offer scant resistance to a "premium quality" assessment.
