Description: Clem Stevens Collection. Frosty arctic-white and extensively lustrous. Judging by the reverse, one would consider the details to be wonderfully struck overall, and most of the obverse agrees. However, a localized portion of the obverse displays shallow definition just below Liberty's knees, leading to the realization that a tiny piece of wood or other such malleable material was between the die and planchet when the coin was struck.
