Description: Sheldon-242 identifies instantly once a die line is found to extend the left stem down into the "U" on the reverse. The pretty mahogany-brown surface infuses gentle flowline texture with a few very faint hints of mint red hidden in the recesses. A small patch of carbon just right of ONE CENT fails to restrict eye-appeal, with this side amazingly free from abrasions. The obverse has a couple of tiny linear abrasions toned over just beneath the chin. Superb for choice as a type coin.
