Description: Mintage: 110,000. With the second lowest regular emission for Morgan dollars, the 1894 has always had key-date status, although high-grade examples are surprisingly available for a price. A high percentage increase in cost occurs between the AU and MS-60 levels, with the present AU-58 a great compromise for the collector with budgetary constraints. Extensive, tantalizing luster permeates the fields for this white example, with essentially no details lost to circulation. Only trivial striking softness will be found over Liberty's ear.
