Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1886-O PCGS MS-63
Lot Number: 652
Description: 1886-O is just one of several dates in the series belonging to that infamous club of "common in circulated grades, rare in mint-state", although the huge rise in value really occurs at and above MS-64. At the present MS-63, the pill may be a bit difficult to swallow, but at least the potential suitors save two-thirds the cost of a minor point upgrade. Luster may appear slightly dull at first glance for this example, but it always is for 1886-O, and at least this coin features superior definition for the date despite some light roller marks over the central obverse. Some small abrasions in the lower left quadrant likely take most credit for the grade, but the cheek is surprisingly free from contact for the choice level.
