Description: VAM-3 has the famed CC mintmark tilted a little left, and lacks a dash beneath "8" in the date. This stupendous, untoned example must have fallen off of very early dies since it offers a dead-on accurate impression of an actual proof striking. Liberty's portrait exhibits very heavy, thick white frost as does the entire eagle motif, and both devices are surrounded by watery, liquid-silver fields.
