Lot Title: Nine Franklin half-dollars certified MS-65 by PCGS
Lot Number: 486
Description: Clem Stevens Collection. PCGS has graded each Franklin half-dollar MS-65 for this grouping. The first four examples (1949-S, 1951, 1953-S, 1955) positively gleam with shimmering satin-white luster, while 1958-D shows delicate steam-grey patina. The balance of the nonet features toned examples, briefly listed as follows: 1957 (exceptional mixture of pumpkin-gold and cyan), 1957-D (steam-orange with royal gold rim color), 1958 (gorgeous bluish-grey iridescence), and 1958 (astonishing olive-peach iridescence). Nine coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
