Description: Although only a mundane issue without the "full head" designation, 1928-D becomes quite elusive when well struck, ranking as a semi-key in that situation. This satin-textured gem shows a lot of pizzazz for the grade, with lengthy curving bands of luster that enliven the eye-appeal with silvery presence, tinged at the extreme edge with a narrow ring of royal-gold.
