Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1905 PCGS MS-67
Lot Number: 922
Description: 70 graded MS-67, 3 higher at PCGS. Astonishing quality elevates this common date to the status of "superb gem", making it a phenomenal type representative, perhaps disserviced very slightly by a tiny solitary rim tick at 8:00 of the reverse. Extraordinary preservation alone doesn't cut it for MS-67, and this example features exquisite sharpness, including fully erupted stars and utterly complete central details, as well as marvelous, original caramel-gold coloration. That the coin has not been obviously "treated" can be ascertained by the retention of two small copper spots on the reverse.
