Lot Title: Sixteen 1887, all NGC MS-64
Lot Number: 815
Description: While each has been graded MS-64 by NGC, twelve are in more modern holders, while four were encapsulated decades ago in "no-line" holders. These latter pieces all feature near-identical slivers of exceedingly vivid aquamarine toning. Two pieces are essentially untoned, and two more feature beautiful toning only on the reverse, one particularly gorgeous with magenta, toast-gold and jade-indigo shades. Two additional coins feature somewhat prominent obverse toning, one more coin shows utterly astonishing color on the reverse, and the final five examples simply exhibit varying degrees of obverse and/or reverse tone. Sixteen coin lot.
