Lot Title: Eleven GSA CC dollars. Three 1882-CC, three 1883-CC, and five 1884-CC
Lot Number: 732
Description: 1882-CC examples all have certificates and display blazing white surfaces, except that one shows a bit of ash toning on the reverse. These should grade MS-62, or perhaps slightly better. Those dated 1883-CC tend to have more abrasions, suggesting an average grade of MS-61 or slightly better, with none lacking certificates. Finally, a pair of 1884-CC coins display alabaster surfaces at MS-62, a third displays pretty crescent toning at possibly MS-63, another displays powdery peach obverse toning and should grade MS-63 easily, while the final 1884-CC exhibits an intriguing pair of tan-gold streaks, and again should grade at least MS-63. Only one of these lacks its certificate, but there is a box for every member of this eleven coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
