Lot Title: Seven certified Franklin half-dollars
Lot Number: 667
Description: Bradford Pear Collection. Toning to some degree affects all except the last piece listed for this septet of Franklin half-dollars, and every single one is a strong gem, as certified. We enumerate them as follows: 1951 (NGC MS-65, obvious mint set toning), 1951-S (PCGS MS-66, somewhat dense and strongly original mint set toning), 1951-S (PCGS MS-65, smoke-grey patina, almost certainly from a mint set), 1952 (PCGS MS-65 FBL CAC, tobacco speckles mixed with modest iridescence), 1953-D (PCGS MS-65 FBL, blazing iron-grey patina), 1958-D (NGC MS-65 FBL, intriguing eggshell-grey over blistering luster), and 1963-D (NGC MS-65 FBL, and a difficult coin to locate at this certified grade). Seven coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, CACG, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
