Description: While the "AU details" designation makes perfect sense, use of the enigmatic "stained, cleaned" monikers could use clarification. In the cataloger's opinion, use of a simpler term -- "microporosity" -- would more succinctly convey the spongy texture of the surface. Examination suggests the coin may have been a ground find at one time, and subsequently cleaned, resulting in the present, bland aluminum-grey appearance.
