Description: O-126 has a small portrait obverse paired with 9-8 berries on the reverse. NGC calls this die-state "a", but unless wear has diminished its presence, the die crack that should snake along the lower left wreath stem doesn't seem apparent. At any rate, the G-4 grade actually seems slightly conservative given a hint of internal detail for the portrait, as well as small hints of definition within the eagle's feathers. Perhaps this is a slight net grade taking into account a lengthy hairline scratch down the reverse right.
